Fall has undoubtedly arrived in Venice. Days are getting shorter, shadows are getting longer and everyone is soaking up the (still) warm sunrays till the sun disappears below the horizon, replaced by the cold, wet cloak of the Venetian night. Seagulls are especially enjoying the past couple of sunny days!
Fall season is the season when one can catch the most beautiful sunsets in Venice. The weekend storm drifted away and gave way to the first cold spell of fall. Water, air and fire enveloping me on the vaporetto - what a way to enjoy a waterbus ride from Lido to Zattere!
Not much time to do a full blog entry today because of university work, so I am just posting a photo that I took on my way to lecture the other day. Even street manholes here on Lido remind you how much beauty Italy has treasured...
Well, I never really thought I would do the blogging thing. Especially right before my first exam. But since Venice is beautiful beyond words, I feel like I have to take you on a tour of its secret (and sometimes not so secret) treasures, through my photography. I hope you enjoy the ride!
